iThink Improv Troupe
(Same FREE programming, different name!)

iThink's goal is to travel to local elementary schools within Cherokee County providing and encouraging theatrical arts and creative writing.  This non-profit project plans to: provide children with a positive experience of interactive theatre through their own stories and ideas, express educational literature in creative ways, and present the knowledge of the theatrical arts in their community.

Since 2008, iThink (formerly known as TLACit) has encouraged over 11,000 children to express literature creatively, tell stories, read about adventures, travel to far off literary places, and bring their imaginations to life. Here’s what some of the Cherokee County school faculty had to say last year:

 "Our students were so proud when they were able to go up on stage and have their story acted out."

"The performance was very engaging and entertaining. The actors were professional, respectful, and dedicated to teaching students that reading & writing can be joyful."
